HORNETS WIN REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!!
-September 19 The Booker T Washington Varsity Cheerleaders won the 2009 OSSAA 5A Regional Championship held Saturday, September 19, at Bixby High School's Whitey Ford Sports Complex. The girls qualified to compete in the State Championships, to be held October 3 at Skiatook. VIEW THE PHOTO GALLERY | Cheerleaders Attend UCA Cheer Camp
- The Hornets just completed cheer camp (July 6-9) at The University
of Tulsa/UCA Cheer Camp. They worked very hard all week and at
the parents' preview it appeared the hard work was paying off.
Both the Varsity and JV squads attended, and the camp helped
develop their skills for upcoming sports and competition seasons.

- Seniors Captain Lawren Brown and Co-Captain Jordie Leffler were
invited to tryout to become staff members of UCA (Universal Cheer
Association).
Only 3 cheerleaders from each camp are selected and 2 of the 3
from this camp were HORNETS...and the only 2 seniors on
this year's squad!!
Staff members of UCA help teach and instruct other cheerleading
camps just like the one the Hornets just attended. It is quite a
recognition of their talent, leadership, and hard work this week
at camp.
